I refer to the letter Booking deposit - developer's move depressing .

I am amazed that in this day and age, when there are rows and rows of empty houses (in Kapar and Meru for example) and office blocks (along federal highway), there are developers who still collect deposits to build and hold the hapless buyer to ransom until the project is completed at a date usually uncertain in the future.

It can only mean just one thing - they are cash-strapped or they do not want to proceed until there are enough deposits in the coffers to finance the construction and take the risk off the developer to the financier (the bank)

Either way, the buyers will do better to hold back until the developers have completed building.

Stay in your present office or terrace house. Better still, work from your house on-line until the office block is completed.

There is a commercial property bubble waiting to burst with two million or more office spaces vacant in the federal capital.

This is one of one of the reasons the banks are not giving 90% loans. Remember, the whole US sub-prime fiasco was about the 100% mortgages.
