The scenario in Malaysia has been changed so rapidly that we have lost our identity of being Malaysian including our cultural spirit. Where is the 'togetherness spirit' of being a Malaysian?

The country is managed, more for political mileage, affairs and warfare where the federal and state government get involved more in political issues rather than being engaged in economic affairs for the well-being of the rakyat .

Politicians have destroyed our love for our nation, culture and religious affairs. They have divided the mindset of the rakyat who just need a caring and protective governess. What we have are a big bunch of selfish politicians whose priority is to protect their positions and gains.

With this scenario, none of the political parties can be sure of their position at the next general election because they have lost the confidence of the rakyat. The rakyat's mindset has also changed from ‘trust in the government' to being 'judgmental' over the delivery systems and economic affairs of the country.

There is more hatred than love for both the ruling and opposition parties just because we have so many irresponsible politicians. The is so much of bad judgement and implementation which has cause the rakyat to be confused including the wastage our taxpayers' funds. When can we make good our losses? The rakyat wants to give a wake-up call to all politicians and the government.

Are the federal and state governments elected by the rakyat to manage political affairs or to deliver and care for the rakyat? Enough is enough; please get to the ground to not only to see but also 'feel' how the rakyat are suffering over their unhappiness.

The scenario is so bad that even the recent festive season spirit couldn't be felt by the nation. We need to gain back the Malaysian and festive spirits. The government can't only focus on the ‘1Malaysia, People First' slogan.

What have they done for the rakyat during the festive seasons? Even our Merdeka Day celebration spirit is not felt. The lack of our identity and cultural spirit must be serious looked into rather than the ‘1Malaysia' theme.

If we can't get back the feeling of these spirits, there's no point talking about your ‘1Malaysia, People First' slogan. Let's get back to basics and enough of this political sloganeering from both camps.

Just give us the basic feeling of togetherness and a delivery system with a caring attitude all without your political trimmings.
