It is a sad day indeed for Malaysians to see our former prime minister joining another racist group to hammer the government and the Chinese community.

Malaysia lacks good and honest leaders to bring the country forward. Many of them are selfish and have their own agenda. They undermine the good intentions of the government in order to suit themselves.

Therefore, our prime minister will have a tough time to make his NEM work.

Who is this man Ibrahim Ali? To become the member of Parliament for Pasir Mas, he has to borrow PAS’s platform to gain entry into Parliament after being thrown out from Umno.

Now, he uses race to maintain his status as a viable politician because he wants to continue to be in Parliament after the next election. He is barking about the same old issues brought up by Umno a long time ago.

Malaysia is unfortunate because we always have unreasonable politicians who are not interested to make this country good for everyone. Even old senior members who could talk so much about international issues, join the other ultras to gain political mileage.

All of us want to live in peace with other Malaysians but there are others who quarrel and fight over petty things. We all have mixed friends - Malays, Chinese, Indians and others and our relationship is good.

I do not see any threat that the Chinese can give to the Malays. Why is this man and Perkasa feeling threatened when the Malays form the majority? He is sowing fear into the Malays for nothing.

The ISA should be used here. Why wait?
