The single most notable feature of Malaysian national life is apartheid. You will be treated according to the color of your skin. It does not matter what the constitution says. It is about what Umno desires. What do Umno insiders want? Your money!

Malay money, Chinese money, Indian money - Umno wants everybody's money. The morality of Malaysian national life under Umno is not about merit or justice or equal opportunities.

Apartheid is all about oppressing non-Malays to win Malay votes to protect Umno elite business interests. It is that simple.

Umno is not about protecting ‘agama’ or ‘bangsa’. Promoting ‘agama’ and ‘bangsa’ precludes instituting racial apartheid, systematic abuses of power, persecution of minorities, kangaroo courts, divide and rule, wholesale corruption,’ fitnah’, cronyism, lying and robbing the rakyat blind.   

Umno has placed itself above ‘agama’ and ‘bangsa’ and uses ‘bangsa’ and ‘agama’ to protect its right to steal from everybody. Umno is about stealing all your money. Apartheid is not about protecting Malays from the non-Malays. Apartheid is simply a terrific vehicle for keeping the Umnoputras in power

Being in power for an Umno elite is about the right to steal all your money. Being an Umno elite is a license to steal all your money regardless of whether you are Malay, Chinese or Indian. How will the Malays suffer under Umno misrule? Apartheid establishes the principle that might is right. It establishes the law of the jungle - that is, the powerful will prey on the weak   

The Umno courts are not there to protect the innocent or the weak or powerless. The courts are there to protect Umno, Umno’s families, and Umno’s cronies. Umno tells Malay Muslims that apartheid is what they need. But the fact is that apartheid is what the Umno elites need to stay in power to continue stealing.   

As the majority community, the power and responsibility for all decisions about Malaysian apartheid therefore lies with Malay-Muslims. No non-Malay would ever vote for apartheid unless threatened by Umno. The message from Umno for the non-Malays has always been if you don't vote for me, we cannot guarantee your safety.

But too late, Malay-Muslims now realise the price they will pay for Umno's greed and venality. Besides the obvious social and economic decline into the abyss that is the reality for Zimbabwe today, the costs of Malaysian apartheid will be borne by many generations of Malay Muslims to come

I would never ever teach my children that other people owe them a living. If I did, they would never be happy, and I would have crippled their drive and ambition and any sense of personal responsibility they need to nurture for themselves. I would never teach my children that they are unfit to compete, inferior or entitled to win regardless. If I did, they would never develop the confidence to compete happily, win or lose.

I would never teach my children that unearned privileges would be a good thing when the risks of addiction and dependence are so very high. If I did, they would develop an entitlement mentality, and learned helplessness, a terrible habit, and that is the worst thing I could do to them.

I would never teach my children that it is morally right to treat anyone according to the colour of their skin. If I did, God would judge me, because God judges the heart and actions and not the colour of our skins.

I would never teach my children that might is right, that apartheid is right, that oppressing the weak is right. If I did, God would judge me, because God dispenses justice and racism is a sin.  

I would teach my children that choices matter, that doing the right thing matters and that choices have serious consequences in this world. I would teach them to look to their own behavior first instead of pointing fingers at others

Right now, Umno teaches the direct opposite of what I would teach my kids. Who is doing the right thing? You decide.
