We are resilient no thanks to the government
I refer to the comment made by one ‘Sudin Abdullah’ made in the Malaysiakini report Malaysia, we have a problem .
It is sickening to the gut to know that there are still people like Sudin Abdullah in the country that treat others as not equal to him even though others, especially the non-Malays and some Malays who had emigrated.
It is also not his place to say that we are ungrateful based on his assumption that the country had helped us and trained us until we are pandai cari makan. What a load of rubbish from this person.
For your information, the government had not taught me all the skills I have. The government has not given us an equal opportunity to cari makan especially not the GLCs, Petronas and other government agencies.
The government had not provided us with the capital to do business. The government has not helped us in any way at all. So next time, before you open your mouth to comment that we are ‘ungrateful’, please check your facts first.
In fact, we, especially the non-Malays, have been deprived of a chance to do business fairly. We have had to fight tooth-and-nail to make a living and that is why we are resilient unlike some privileged groups who have everything put on a silver platter before them but yet still fail to make it.
So, when we leave, we do not leave with a heavy heart but leave gladly knowing that we have the resilience to make it anywhere after the 'training' we made ourselves go through on this Malaysian minefield!
So, I wish to see some of you say that you can do that in another country like us. If do not have what it takes, then shut the hell up.
