History repeats and it’s really uncanny that the name Murugesu appears again after almost 40 years. I am sure you would remember the late Mr Murugesu who was VT Sambanthan's very close aid.

On that fateful day, he had promised to pick up his daughter in the evening but was found dead the next day in a cheap hotel in Chow Kit. The news was that he had a heart attack Probably that was one of the earliest ‘political assassinations’ in the country. Everybody in politics than knew that the move was to weaken the late Tun.

You categorically deny having anything to do with the removal of the late Tun and put the blame squarely on the late Manickavasagam. You were a great actor then and you are one until today.

Can we forget the CWC meeting sometime in 1974 when you brought your thugs from Sentul and Batu Caves carrying placards and banners condemning the Tun? You so vulgarly brought his family matters to the public.

What great man the Tun was. Though he had the support of the grassroots and would have won if contested for the post of the president of the MIC, he knew the party would be divided. He knew you would go to any extent to reach your political goals.

To spare the Indian community and MIC, the Tun stepped down gracefully. Such is the nature of a selfless leader.

But look at you. Just like Mahathir, you don't care about the community or the party and you would do anything for your own survival. Look at your deputy and your wise vice-presidents. All boneless cowards. They know that the party is ailing. People like the Tun and my late father had sacrificed everything they had for the sake of the party and the Indian community but look at you.

The Maika scandal, the Telekom shares scandal, the MIED scandal, the list goes on and on. Yet the MIC CWC and the goons you have around you still support you like hyenas hanging around for bones and rotting flesh.

One thing we know for sure. When Mahathir left Umno, he left it in a pathetic condition and that is why it performed so dismally in the 2008 general elections. The same will happen with the MIC.

When you leave, there is going to be a great power struggle which will result in the party being completely destroyed. Yours and your 40 thieves days are numbered! We don't need any more race-based parties.
