It is better to destroy the world if an individual has no food to eat. All becomes nothing when fellow human beings starve to death. Who they are in poverty does not matter for us in this world.

The fact that they are human beings is what that matters for all. How can we sleep in peace when we see pictures of pain? How can we eat in luxury when we hear calamities of colossal ruin?

The UN reports 250,000 die every day due to poverty and catastrophe. Every three and a half seconds it is a child who dies the most often. Most of them are children unfortunately. Yet we have plenty of food for everyone everywhere in the world.

But the hungry are trapped in severe poverty and lack money to buy it. Constantly malnourished, they become weak and often fall sick. Moreover, when they are seriously sick, they become less able to work.

This makes them poorer, hungrier until it is death for them. The ‘food for education’ programme is there to help the poor. It will help them to escape from hunger and global poverty. But it is not enough and we need to focus on this miserable poverty more.

Stop the billions spent on vanity and let’s go back to basic human needs. Presidents and prime ministers need to be back in to the board room. Discuss not to build luxurious parliaments to replace the present.

Not to replenish the rulers’ palaces with billions and billions. But to mould mountains and valleys to till for more work and food. Make it a law that delicious food must not be wasted for any reason.

Make it a norm that no banquet be lavish with more than what is needed. I know it is a free world for you have your rights to what you have earned. But that should not stop you from sharing your thoughts for the poor

For when the tsunami comes, it does not discriminate you from the meek. All will go to the grave whether you are the mighty king or a meek mouse.

Just feed the poor and teach him to catch his own fish for his own survival tomorrow. Send a signal to the conscience that all will have enough for the day.

Millions by the law of attraction will get billions from law of abundance. We need to do more; we need to feed more; we need to pray more. Let’s address the imbalance to balance for all the world to survive and for all to thrive.
