I hope Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Karpal Singh, DAP members and supporters will read the open letter to DAP by Loi Bih Siang Benjamin.

I have read it, reflected upon it and it strikes me that all party members and supporters of DAP should think and change their mindset too. To set the record straight, I am not a supporter of any political party, never have been nor ever would be.

I would vote for any party in my constituency, even PAS if it's the only opposition party, as a ‘check and balance’ to authoritarian and corrupt rule.

Racial prejudice and xenophobia exists in all parties, it is not just in Umno.  If the supporters of DAP want a change for the better, please discuss the intelligent views of Loh with your DAP leaders and MPs and change your strategy and mindset.  

Do you understand why PKR has more appeal to the moderate Malays that you would ever be able to achieve? The Malays control the destiny of this country - not the Chinese, the Indians or the Bumis.

I admire Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng and Karpal Singh for steadfastly defending Malaysia against corruption, nepotism and autocracy. But they have failed since its foundation in 1965 to bring about significant changes. DAP has endeared itself to the Chinese and Indians but at the expense of further polarising racial politics.

The vast majority of Chinese and Indians are not firebrands advocating a revolution. They do care about Malaysia - it's the only home they have. However, the Chinese and Indians are very hurt with insults like ‘pendatang, prostitutes, beggars’ and the institutionalised discriminatory practices which the Malays are well aware of.  

My vision of a better Malaysia has only two parties - something like the Republicans and Democrats in the US.  The more parties, the more ‘frogs’ and politics becomes more virulent and vitriolic and the nation slides further into a quagmire.

In my vision there is no DAP, no Umno, no MCA, MIC, Gerakan nor Hindraf. The only two parties are multiracial in composition, representing the different interests of our multi-racial country. Wouldn't that be better than the current lunatic system of democratic representation which we call our Parliament?
