I refer to the letter KTM's 'reverse discrimination' a rail pain .

Dear Yeoh,

I do understand at what you are going through with regards to your daily trips on KTMB’s Komuter coaches.

Frankly speaking, I am also a daily (female) traveller on KTMB. The ladies-only coaches are always full and I too hardly get a seat even though I take the train at KL Sentral (4.16 pm).

KTMB should buck up and provide more trains and that too at proper times with no delays. Frequent delays are causing a big headache to their travellers.

A delay for more than 20 minutes or having one train dibatalkan (cancelled) creates massive chaos at the Kepong/Kepong Sentral stations at peak period (the morning hours). Seeing is believing.

Everyone is rushing to work, passengers can't go out whereas incoming passengers are rushing to go in. A lot of hue and cry is seen here.

That hourly journey from Rawang to Tanjong Malim is the biggest blunder caused by KTMB. If you miss the train by a mere 5 to 10 minutes, then you have to wait for a stuffy one hour for the next train.

At the beginning when KTMB started the Rawang to Kuala Kubu Baru journey, it was half-an-hour but now it is one hour. Anyway please keep the ladies-only coaches because it is very convenient for us ladies.
