Forty-five minutes of fruitful meeting with the PM, said CCM head bishop Ng Moon Hing?

 

Prior to that, Najib had already announced that the Christians have made pledges to him about putting Islam first as the official religion. Isn't that ridiculous?

 

Najib is now turning this whole issue around, (just like all the times when Umno was naughty), and makes it seem like the Christians are at fault and these pledges are in his opinion an apology to the Muslims, Umno and Utusan Malaysia for the whole fiasco.

 

I wonder what was in the CCM bishop's mind? Just sounding your 'displeasure' to him about Utusan is not going to solve any problems in the long run. Umno and their cohorts will just get bolder.

 

Those who attended the meeting with Najib should instead have put their foot down and demand for action to be taken against the two bloggers as well as Utusan and nothing less.

 

To us, this is all just wayang kulit from Najib, and his way of 'solving' problems that originated from his bunch of morons, racists and troublemakers. He instead should pledge to take stern action and not just pay lip service.

CCM, you have turned scapegoats while Najib walked out a hero today. What we all expected has happened, inaction by Najib!

 

Just mark my word, this is not the last time the Christians will bear the brunt of Najib's actions, there's more to come.

I hope you can swallow and not choke on what he is going to dish out to you.

We, the sound minded and well informed citizens know that making Malaysia a Christian state has never been possible because Islam is enshrined as the official religion in the constitution. So, to what end was Utusan ’s false report's target group - the not so well informed Muslims.

So that these people will rise and seek justice in the name of Islam. If the Christian retaliate, well, emergency law will be used, that is Umno's hope.    

So far the government has taken no action against the perpetrators of the rumour. Which goes to show that the government supports false reporting on religious affairs with the intention to stoke racial and religious tensions in the name of Islam.   

The government has also displayed that it will not hesitate to stoke racial tensions by not punishing or reprimanding any of it's cabinet ministers or supporters who have fanned sentiments by issuing hurtful and seditious racial slurs and comments.   

As an interesting aside, I fully agree with Dean John's article on Malaysia's hypocrisy on Osama bin Laden.

Subsequent to Osama's much awaited capture or death, the government of the day dedicated a 30 minute program depicting Osama's life and his triumphs on Astro, which is a sign of support for terrorism and a known Islamist terrorist.

I hope the powers of the world take heed of this matter.
