As a MCA member, I feel extremely angry and sad that some frustrated losers in the MCA are now not only sabotaging the party elections by calling for another extraordinary general meeting, but also inviting outsiders, especially Umno leaders, to interfere in the domestic affairs of the Chinese party. Team B is certainly trying to sell out the sovereignty, independence and dignity of the party to Umno.

True, MCA and Umno are members of the Barisan Nasional. But as equal allies, we must respect each other and not interfere in the domestic affairs of one another. If Umno were allowed to interfere in MCA, why cant MCA in turn interfere in Umnos domestic problems? Kelantan Umno, for example, is facing a grave internal crisis. Many top leaders of Puteri Umno also resigned in the past one year.

In 1988 when the old Umno was deregistered, Dr Ling Liong Sik was appointed the ad hoc chairperson of BN. That showed how capable he was.

Team B leaders are just being selfish. They are ready to humiliate and destroy the dignity of the third largest Chinese party in the world for their own personal ambitions and agenda.

They attack the party for taking over two Chinese-language newspapers, but they never utter a word of protest against Umno for its control of the New Straits Times , Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian , TV3 and RTM. Why? What is so special about Umno? If Umno can control the media, why cant MCA?

Instead, Team B leaders have been using Umno-controlled media to attack MCA and their own party comrades. What kind of MCA leaders are they? Has anyone of us seen Umno leaders using MCA-owned media to attack each other? It is simply double standards and hypocrisy at its ugliest.
