After reading the letters by Sook Choo, Sore losers out to sabotage MCA and PK Ho, Kim Sai is not neutral I cannot help but wonder whether both are pro-Team A sympathisers, Opposition supporters or "planted" instigators of Team A for cheap publicity sake. Of course, they have every right to express their opinions, no matter how shallow and absurd their arguments.

In any political factional in-fighting, as in MCA's case, the real loser is the political organisation. Sook Choo strongly implied that Team B as the losers are out to sabotage MCA. I hope she has all her facts in her head and has an insight into the past developments before passing off such an opinionated judgement.

Not forgetting that there are real issues behind the "split" before the losing and winning power play. If we use wisdom in judging political situations  and we have plenty past experiences in Umno, MCA or whatever political parties to judge upon  we will find contentious issues and root causes of political factionalism.

Citing words like "sabotaging" and judging "losers and winners" in our shallow judgement will make us "missing the forest for the wood". Two "wrongs" don't make a "right". One hand cannot clap. I suggest Sook Choo should view the whole episode with wisdom, of course unless she is a "planted" writer to distort the real situation to achieve a motive for publicity sake.

As for PK Ho, he says in the political real world, "neutrality" is a luxury which factional politics do not permit. Citing Samy Vellu as a neutral person is a "misnomer". How does PK Ho know for sure that Samy Vellu would be "neutral" in handling MCA's factional situation.

I know he is a very good buddy of the MCA president and can back up my claim with substantiated past examples of their cooperation in community projects launched by MIC-MCA. To me, nobody in the political arena is neutral.

So don't mislead the public particularly in alleging that Ong Tee Keat's defiance against Dr Ling is a rub-off characteristic of his mentor Lee Kim Sai. That is a very irresponsible statement. It is like saying, "a chip off the old block". PK Ho's judgement is definitely off the mark and a very shallow perception at that.

I strongly suggest both writers use their wisdom before passing judgement and equip themselves with facts in regard to the root causes of the current problems facing MCA. Until they do that, don't mislead the public.
