I refer to your report Writers refute they were advised by Jakim

in which both Zainah Anwar and Kassim Ahmad denied being warned by Jakim over what they wrote about Islam.

An earlier report quoted parliamentary secretary to the Prime Minister's Department, Noh Omar, as saying that they were indeed given a warning by Jakim.

The conflicting accounts is enough to raise a pointed question  who is lying? Either Noh Omar told a lie in Parliament, or Zainah Anwar and Kassim Ahmad did not tell the truth.

I am not all at concerned with who is right or wrong, not even the right (or none of it) to freedom of speech. What I am concerned with is the honesty or otherwise of Noh Omar on one hand, and Zainah Anwar and Kassim Ahmad on the other. All are public figures, but, unfortunately, only one party can be right while the other must necessarily and logically be telling a lie.

As in a court, there can only be a yes or no answer to the question. So who is a liar and who is truthful?
