It is precisely a situation like what happened in Two MCA-owned dailies attack Team B in same editorial that we, the readers, seek alternative source of news, which are independent and unbiased.

It was already a foregone conclusion that news from the newspapers would be biased when the MCA under the influence of the leadership bought the two dailies last year despite widespread protests.

The news that are reported in all the national newspapers are so biased that they are not believable anymore. There is no avenue for the opposition to defend themselves or to clarify matters. Whatever that comes out from the opposition always will be written or translated negatively and this is not difficult to do.

Just ask any writer, give them some material and they will ask you what kind of report you want — positive or negative slant? Therefore, I rarely read the analyses by journalists or editors knowing very well that these people are earning a living in the best way they could.

Instead, I will pick up little details from these news and do my own analysis and interpretation.
