Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Rais Yatim definitely has my vote.

I write to show how unfair the system is because the police punishes motorists who dutifully pay their summons on time.

I, for one, always pay my summon promptly each time I receive it yet I have been labelled "naughty boy, pay in full ". Those who did not pay on time got a reprieve and a " 30 per cent discount".

What kind of message is the authorities trying to send to the public? Is this the correct way to educate the public about ethics? That it pays to be lackadaisical with the law?

I can hear parents telling their children that it is wise to delay payments as one may get to enjoy 30 percent discounts.

Shouldn't the authorities refund my payment in since I have been such a compliant and responsible citizen.
