Since so much had been said on selection of university students based on merit, I wish to suggest the fairest way of selection:

  1. Make all students sit for the same type of examination, be it STPM or matriculation.

When registering students for the above examination, please do away with the practice of identifying students by race, as is happening now. This will definitely remove suspicion from all quarters that the examination results are being manipulated to benefit any race.
