Youth leaders and members of MCA have again caused public disorder when they met in Selangor and Perak yesterday for their state annual general meetings. Last year, in their extraordinary general meeting in Kuala Lumpur, fistfights also broke out. It is enough to make one sick.

I don't know why the police took no pre-emptive action yesterday. The police should have had the Federal Reserve Unit and water cannon trucks on stand-by to prevent any untoward incidents.

And what has happened to the police report lodged by suspended MCA Youth chief Ong Tee Keat on the Aug 3 fracas? No one has been arrested and questioned, although photographs in all newspapers show very clearly who threw chairs and bottles. The police seem to have forgotten the case and utterly failed in their duty.
