It was reported in The Star (June 16) that "the Fire and Rescue Department is acquiring 100 jet skis costing RM20 million". While it is good that the authorities are getting more sophisticated equipment, one wonders who is the supplier of these RM200,000 a piece jet skis... is it a Paris fashion house?

A three-man jet ski should cost no more than RM50,000 each, unless a Baywatch actress in bikini comes with each model!
