I am horrified that certain people like Joe Fernandez (Unholy alliance of politics and religion) and Jiang (Ban PAS and put its leaders under ISA) are proposing that PAS members should be arrested under the ISA because hudud law is supposedly against the constitution.

Let's be frank and honest. Is our constitution genuinely being adhered to all this while? What about all the legislations which disempowered the judiciary in Malaysia. These laws make the constitution look like a joke.

The constitution is meant to enshrine and protect our rights as citizens of Malaysia. Yet there is much legislation which gives sweeping powers to the Ministry of Home Affairs which cannot be challenged in court.

These laws virtually demolish our right to religious freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom to contest in elections, etc. So, to arrest PAS members for deviating from the constitution is laughable at the very least and can only be described as selective prosecution and random implementation of the law.

So, what is the problem with the hudud law? Elections are held every five years. You can dump PAS is they really are unfair as Barisan Nasional supporters claim. Is this not real democracy?
