I take exception to Marissa Dell's letter Muster courage to fight injustice . Former deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim was tried by a different forum of the Federal Court. The forum was presided by judges who have a reputation of being fair and just.

Marissa Dell must accept that the members of the Coram have been praised and reputed to be fair. A chance was given to Anwar to have his appeal heard but the appeal was dismissed.

Her letter implies that the only avenue for the judge to be fair and righteous is to quash and set aside Anwar's conviction and sentence. The fact that the sentence was against Anwar is no reason at all to say that the judges are biased.

That is not the way the legal system works. Those who think that there was injustice and that the judges were all puppets of the present government should exercise their constitutional rights by going to the polls to elect the government of the day.
