Mothers right not less than childs

I refer to the letter Double blow to be raped and pregnant . I strongly agree that the pregnant rape survivor's right should not be less than the innocent child's.
I would like to add one pertinent point: the innocent child's life. It would be a long and tough journey riddled with uncertainties. Who would be responsible for caring for the child and his or her future? What can substitute a parent's love?
Perhaps we should put ourselves in the shoe of the innocent child. It would be just as traumatic to realise the violent start of his or her life
