For all his talk about rule of law, de facto Law Minister Dr Rais Yatim certainly knows when to bend the law.

Last Saturday evening, he gave a Umno political ceramah (public talk) in Kelantan at a school hall to a crowd of about 1,200 people.

However, Rais' action is nothing new in Kelantan, for most of the Umno political ceramah are also shamelessly held in school buildings funded by taxpayers' money.

In the ceramah , Rais accused some Kelantan state government officials of asking for land in order to drop certain investigations but he did not mention what the investigations were about, aside from saying that they were related to malpractices and corrupt acts.
