The exodus of foreign workers is a good sign for the country. Malaysians need to learn to discipline themselves by not relying too much on foreign workers.

The Japanese and the Koreans have proved this point. Those badly affected by the exodus of illegals must be taught a lesson — employ foreigners legally or go for local labour.

If the locals are not skilled enough, train them to be good workers. Why can't employers do this? For sure, the profit margin is going to shrink, I suppose.

In other words then, it is greed that tempts these employers to hire foreigners in an illegal manner, even to the extent of resorting to bribes and harassment of these illegal workers. Malaysians have to learn to be more patriotic. Please put the nation before self.

The security of the country will be at stake if the presence of illegals is not nipped in the bud. Its no use celebrating the National Day year in and year out, if deep in oneself greed is the ultimate aim in life.

To my dear employers, I suggest they take this exodus phenomenon as a blessing in disguise for the sake of our beloved country.
