People's Progressive Party president M Kayveas' outburst against Gerakan is unjustified and wrong. He should beg for the forgiveness from Gerakan which is a much larger party than the PPP whose membership list is dubious.

What I don't understand is why a nonsensical party like PPP is given a deputy ministerial post. Without any elected member of parliament or state assembly representative, PPP has no right or merit to be given a deputy ministerial post. Who and what does PPP represent? No one except its opportunistic president.

The deputy ministerial post should have been given to MIC, Gerakan or MCA which are represented in parliament and state assemblies. Alternatively, some seats should be allocated for PPP candidates to contest in the coming general elections.

The extra seats can be obtained by slashing the quota of MIC, Gerakan or MCA. In that case, MIC, Gerakan and MCA must make sacrifices.
