It is time for Keadilan to come out of PAS' shadow and stand on its own feet as a true multiracial party. Their future is bright if they make their own stand on matters affecting all races. They must be courageous enough to stand up to Pas and not beat about the bush where their stand on hudud is.

I would say the future is bright for a multiracial party in five to10 years' time. Parties based on race or religion will face a slow but sure death. Barisan Nasional has failed to lift the poverty of the majority of the different races. Only a handful who are close to party leaders have benefitted.

So Keadilan should work harder to win over the youths of all races to join their party, and move on. They may not have the time to achieve major victories in the coming elections but they should not see this as a big blow as they have a bright future ahead.

I believe the future generations will support a more multiracial party. So be brave and act fast.
