How could Umno vice-president Abdullah Ahmah Badawi rule

that Azalina Othman is eligible to contest in Puteri Umno? She has clearly exceeded the age limit to be in Puteri Umno at all.

Without being qualified for membership in an organisation, how can she be elected to lead the organisation? Even my eight-year-old is questioning the decision.

What is the use of Puteri Umno's constitution which sets the age limit at 35? How can a non-member be allowed to lead a party? It is ridiculous, isn't it? Might as well open the post to all regardless of age and gender so Rafidah Aziz, Aishah Ghani or even Ghafar Baba can run for it.

It shows that Umno has yet to learn the basics of the modern rule of law. It is simply hopeless and hilarious when it comes to making — and bending — laws.

Its high-handed ways have a negative effect on our society and culture.
