I find Get Real's letters Paying the price for Sept 11 offensive to Muslims. The only people who ought to pay the price are the airplane hijackers themselves as well as individuals who provided training and logistical support to them in the tragic terror attacks.

At most, possibly several hundred people altogether were directly involved. Why do 1.3 billion Muslims have to pay the price for acts committed by a few hundred people only? The use of racial and religious profiling is against all standards of human rights and can never be justified one little bit.

Is the writer suggesting that Malaysia should close its doors to Arab Muslims simply because they are Arabs and Muslims. There is no other word for such a practice other than racism.

If so, why not close our doors to people of Irish descent as well because of their possible ties with IRA terrorists? Shouldn't we then also screen all tourists from Spain in case there are Basque separatists seeking refuge here?

The demands made by Get Real towards the Malaysian government is, in my opinion, unfair and immoral.
