I read with interest Mustapha Ong's comments in response to John R Malott's letters .

In the first place, I think that we should all note that Mustapha was no diplomat. He served as an executive officer and that is not the same as being a diplomat. Most of his diplomatic colleagues must have been embarrassed by his antics.

I am also amused by his defence of the Internal Security Act, which comes all the way from New Zealand where he is presently living.
