Could Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad clarify this for me? He wants the Philippine government to apologise

for jumping to conclusion that one of their under-aged citizens was allegedly raped while in Malaysian police custody.

Now that the girl has been found to be Malaysian, does Mahathir consider President Gloria Arroyo rude? She saw what had happened to the child was terribly wrong and protested accordingly.

I want clarification from Mahathir as to whether he will apologise to the girl for not protecting her even when she was under the care of Malaysian police.

Would Mahathir apologise to this child and the nation for deporting her? If it could happen to a 13-year-old, imagine what could also happen to the rest of us. Malaysians deserve an answer to this question — are we safe in our own country?
