In reference to A J's letter Stunned by toll hike , this is the reason why we call it 'highway' in Malaysia. We have to pay a 'high' toll for using it.

In other countries like the US, it is called a 'freeway' because you don't have to pay any toll or at least the tolls are not so exorbitant.

So, in future if the government announces that it is planning to build another 'highway', we should put an immediate stop to it through our voting rights.

Give us 'free' way. Say no to 'highway'.
