I refer to the letter Porr a lesson for opposition-less govt . Let's not forget that the lesson could apply to the English-for-maths-n-science and Sekolah Agama Rakyat (SAR) fiascos as well.

The three cases show proof beyond reasonable doubt that the Umno-led Barisan Nasional government acts without much thought to the people who voted them in, nor from those whom they wish to fish votes. The party thinks it is still as powerful as it was in the 1970s and 1980s.

BN, or specifically Umno, gets what it wants without even considering the feelings of Malaysians. They forced vernacular schools to teach Science and Mathematics in English against their wishes, closed the SAR despite widespread protests from Malay Malaysians. Now, it is doing the same with the Penang Outer Ring Road project despite the public outcry.

Malaysians should remember these incidents and vote more wisely in the next general election.
