Letter writer Leong Chin Heng ( Malaysian way, room for improvement ) writes as though he is an Aussie already, whinging about Malaysian red-tape. Unlike Leong who chose the postal route to renewing his passport, I, who stay in Melbourne, drive or take the bus to Canberra to get my passport done at the embassy. I do not sit on my bum to get my passport renewed.

All I can say is 'thank you' to the excellent reception from all the visa office staff. If you had gone there personally you would have discovered that the staff are indeed not all Malaysians, as pointed

out by another letter writer. But so what?

And, you will have your passport back on the same day. The scenery from Sydney to Canberra is wonderful to boot.
