Browse the letter columns of every newspaper in town and see if you can see for yourself how many letters actually say something bad about the government. How many letters of those then, fall o­n deaf ears? Where is the credibility that you so speak of then?

As for all those pro-war letter people. Let them say what they want. Its their right and its malaysiakini 's responsibility to publish their views. As for the influx of Mahathir-bashing type of letters, I believe there's nothing malaysiakini can do. They are simply what they are... letters.

Are you intimidated by a bunch of articles written by god knows who? I don't see our prime minister getting all worked up over them so why should you? Malaysiakini is credible in the sense that it dishes out whatever that is sent to them. It is up to the reader himself to decide between trash and the gold.
