I refer to a teleconversation I had with your reporter o­n Feb 14, in which I was quoted in the malaysiakini article ' Public, youth groups kept in the dark over modified National Service proposal ' .

It may be due to a misunderstanding, but your article stated that I am o­ne of the curriculum sub-committee members - which is factually wrong.

As of to date, I have not been appointed by the relevant authority of the curriculum sub-committee. As I did not attend any of its meeting, my comments towards any modification of the proposed National Service would not be helpful.

I would be grateful if you could do the necessary to rectify the error.
