blogger Oon Yeoh's comments o­n Allen's letter rebutting him.

Does Oon Yeoh mean to say that o­nly citizens who are registered voters and have voted in elections of a particular country have a right to criticise the policies of that country? What kind of warped logic is that?

We are all part of a global community. We all have the right to criticise any policy we think is unjust or incorrect. It is up to the party being criticised whether to accept or reject our criticisms.

Allen's point main point was this: "Can't we consider the possibility that war protesters might just be against the policies of the current administration with regard to just this o­ne instance, instead of hating the US as a whole?"

Instead Yeoh somehow manages to imply that Allen does not like his daily jabs at the state of Malaysian affairs.

I think Yeoh is going overboard in calling people hypocrites and gets a little too defensive when given a taste of his own medicine.
