It is extremely distressing to hear of Malaysians treating Indians badly. Indians, and for that matter all people of foreign origin, should be treated with due respect.

We regret this has happened and expect an unconditional apology from the Malaysian government and hope that such a thing will never happen again.

India is a country of o­ne billion people with many cultural and economic links with Malaysia and such disrespect for Indians is not at all warranted
