I read your report and am happy for the coverage. However, we need to correct your statement made at paragraph 8 of the report.

Muhammad Fauzi Shamsuddin was never the president of National Union of Bank Employees. He was deputy president up to the date of his expulsion o­n April 25, 2002. The president of NUBE before the in-fighting was Johar Sulaiman who resigned from NUBE after opting for a voluntary separation scheme offered by his employer United Overseas Bank Bhd. The said post remained vacant and Muhammad Fauzi remained deputy president.

We would be very grateful if you could rectify the statement as it is confusing our members and we have received quite a number of calls regarding this.
