Incinerator: Contractors questionable record
With regard to your report , I would point out Ebara's questionable record in relation to dioxin release.
For Malaysia to simply accept Ebara as a suitable supplier of the proposed incineration plant invites utter ridicule. To pre-empt an EIA report reveals further incompetence or arrogance by local authorities.
Please refer to published reports such as this .
Although I have written under my own name on previous occasions, I regret that this time I have to remain anonymous due to current project constraints not directly related to the incinerator project.
For those who would like to dismiss any criticism of the project and insult the intelligence of those who may protest its location within range of residential areas, I would humbly refer to my own experience leading detailed risk studies of incinerators for respected overseas government environmental departments and professional papers presented at international fora. We are not all misinformed or simply awaiting enlightenment from our good government.
