To who it may concern. This is serious.

In my opinion, the Islamic enactment has no jurisdiction on non-Muslims, especially to be enforced by the Selangor Islamic Religious Affairs Department. Only the Attorney-General’s Office has some powers, if any. Jais has taken the law into its own hands. There was no warrant for seach nor any warrant for arrest, neither.

The statement by the mufti of Perak is amounting to the highest form of sedition uttered by any officer of official authorities to the best of my knowledge. Perkasa’s statements till now are like insect bites!

The prime minister, as usual, will observe and wait; while Marina Mahathir has kept moving on her cautious, but brave, path. The PM and BN component parties, except Umno, will have to wait and warm up before they can speak up for their respective members.

What is going to be response of the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) when it meets on Jan 6?
