I refer to Paul Ouimette's letter in which he was amused by the diatribe levelleed against the US government. Why should he be?

Paul mentioned of evidence found in the battlefields in Iraq. What evidence? Mostly have been suits and masks, and last night a drum that might, I stress, might contain something of a dangerous material.

In any case, most of the US politicians, including Bush, have said that even if they don't find any weapons of mass destruction, removing the Iraqi regime was justification enough.

So, Bush has placed and hedged his bet such that he will never lose. After which, he has decided to install Jay Garner (an outspoken Ariel Sharon supporter) to run the new Iraqi government until, wait for this, until a new Iraqi regime chosen by the US government is put in place!

Paul, let's not talk about Iraq failing to comply with the UN resolution. How many has Israel breached for the last 20 years? More than Iraq has! And, let's not talk about France, Russia and China supplying weapons to Iraq. So has the US and the UK. But the crux of the matter is that the military aid going to Iraq is small as compared to that going to Israel.

Not a war about Islam? Then why stress about it all the time? Bush is a devout Christian and all his actions has been based on his religious beliefs. Soon, the US will have a base in Iraq and will control about two-thirds of the oil production in the world. Look at Germany and Japan, when did the last war end? Almost 50 years ago and they are still there.

The Muslim countries will decide when to help the Iraqi people but not when told by the US government. US and UK have chosen to go to war. Don't expect others to "chip" in for their foray. After this...Syria?
