Anwar Ibrahim although in prison was allowed to visit his home to give his daughter away at her wedding ceremony. This man moves around with no fewer armed guards than the prime minister. The wedding attended by foreign dignitaries and VIPs and a cross section of the public who have grown to love the family much like the British royal family.

His aura and persona still carries much weight as do any Malaysian minister today except without the pomp and outriders that go with them. Foreign and local newspapers speak much about him whenever allowed to do so as a force still to be reckon with. Although behind bars, he still poses a threat and fear to the ruling elite.
