Whilst I am not surprised that Suresh Gnasegarah is not giving his vote to Keadilan, I am a bit concerned that BN is getting his vote by default. Is that how BN has managed to stay in power all this while - by default?

Surely Suresh has heard of something called the 'protest vote'. It is supposed to say, "I do not approve". A vote for BN in spite of the circumstances would be as saying,"Okay, there's nothing better, I am stuck with BN until somebody else does something about it. Not me, I'm just in for the ride."

That is pathetic. It is not as if you will risk BN losing control of Parliament. There are enough paranoid racists out there who will defend the so-called 'Ketuanan Melayu', without Suresh's cop-out vote.

I am a Malay but I vote for DAP every time. I do not approve of BN's policies, no matter how attractive they couch them in racial terms to win my vote me as a Malay. After more than 20 years of Mahathir's two-faced tough-talking, I know that the real benefits to me as a Malay are marginal, but the loss to me as a Malaysian is phenomenal.

I guess it's easy to resign to the status quo as long as our personal circumstances allow it. Suresh sounds like he had pretty good education.

My poor cousins in the kampung , my Indian friends in the estates and the Chinese in new villages are not so lucky. But many would still vote for BN because they actually believe all of its lies. But Suresh, he gives it up to BN even though he does not sound like he really believes in them. Strange!

See what all that education can do to you! Pardon the cliche, but we do deserve the government we get.

And Suresh's tax money will help pay for Spanco's RM400 million compensation, among others. A small price to pay to avoid the calamities that will surely arise if BN falls, right Suresh?
