I can see where KK Wan is coming from but the writer's fears are misplaced. MCA did not win the last general election for the Barisan Nasional as claimed.

Chinese votes are not necessarily MCA votes. However, Chinese voters supported BN because they were afraid of the bogey PAS rather than for any outstanding achievement o­n MCA's part.

Perhaps in the coming elections, PAS should take a back seat and let DAP and Keadilan carry the torch.
