My thanks to M Kayveas for exposing the scandal in the Ampang Jaya municipal council (MPAJ).

An independent person should have been appointed to head the panel of inquiry as the allegation is serious and one cannot expect the MPAJ legal affairs head to be neutral in the investigation.

How could a member of an organisation investigate something which could tarnish the name of the body itself? How could a bankrupt be employed under a contract when his employment has

been terminated? MPAJ has a lot to answer here!

I do hope the insubordination shown by both Mohamad Karbit and Kudus for refusing to meet the minister will be severally dealt with.

Very often, senior officials of local council are hardly available with their normal excuse being that they are away at meetings. The esok lusa attitude is even more evident.

Please take this opportunity to undertake similar investigations into all other major local councils.
