Abakjr was absolutely right when he claimed that "The nature of duty of our police force is not the same as that of other police forces". Indeed it would be wrong to compare the works of our police force with those in other countries.

The police force in other countries do not monitor the activities of the opposition leaders with the intention creating false allegations against them. The police force in other countries do not guard the interest of political parties.

The police in other countries do not spy on students' activities. The police in other countries do not try to buy opposition leaders into the ruling regime.

(Well, obviously I am talking about civilised country. You would have to compare Malaysia to Zimbabwe if you want to feel good about our country).

In other words, police in other countries do proper police work while police in Malaysia abuse their positions for the benefit of Umno and BN.

No wonder, as Abakjr puts it, "The number of personnel doing the real policing work is very minimal".

Perhaps we do need more police officers after all because Umno and BN have found that they cannot control the rakyat 's antagonism towards them anymore.
