Ten dumb, lethargic and corrupted policemen do not make up for 1 smart, efficient and upright police officer. In fact, 10 corrupted policemen means 10 more chances of getting picked on.

Number is not the solution. One may hope that quality may come from quantity, but with the pay they are getting? Quality is not cheap. You get what you pay for. Why don't we give the money for hiring extra police personnel to the existing police force instead?

When they can't even get some figures straight, how can we depend on them for our protection?

The first thing the government need to do is send them back to school and teach them how to count.

Until then, they are only tools for the powers that be for harassing peaceful demonstrators and people that hold hands in the park and confiscating pirated VCDs.
