I refer to your article today 'Veteran lawyer cleared of murder rap, says sorry' and with much regret, this is a real farce. Despite being an experienced senior lawyer, Balwant Singh killed a man who was armed only with a stick.

Worse, the judge was quoted as saying "he had not committed any offence". Mind you, he took a life. Perhaps, this only happens in Bolehland.

Nevertheless, I am also relieved that attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail confirmed that the prosecution would appeal against the decision to acquit Balwant, who should be sent to jail, as no one is above the law in Malaysia
