Kudos to Dr Nordin Kardi, director-general of the National Civics Bureau. It is along time since a senior civil servant (not parroting politicians) has the courage to face the reality of the Malaysian way of life.

Dr Nordin hit the nail in the head when he said that the actual measurement of patriotism is not merely flying the Jalur Gemilang but an individual's contributions to nation building and rejection of bribes and all forms of corruptions which will destroy the nation.

In the light of these, how many individuals (both in the civil service (including politicians) and private sectors) have not partaken in any form of corruption (either as a giver or a recipient)?
