Your report 'DAP praises Mahathir for favouring integration now' shocks me beyond speech and comprehension. Did DAP national chairperson Lim Kit Siang really say that about Dr Mahathir Mohamad?

If he did, then it must be the biggest sellout of DAP and the opposition. Logically, it can only mean DAP will join the Umno-led BN. Otherwise, for Lim to make such statement is plain stupidity and suicidal ahead of the general election.

If Mahathir is so good to the Chinese now, the Chinese should then vote for MCA and Gerakan, not DAP in the opposition.

Since when has Lim become a freelance campaigner for MCA and Gerakan? Does Lim know that his words and remarks published in the mass media can have an effect on the morale of his own party?

Another question is, if DAP wants to join BN, will this be accepted by MCA and Gerakan which are already facing the problem of not having enough seats?

If not, then DAP is making a fool of itself by helping MCA and Gerakan to win more seats, while it is distrusted by Malaysians in other opposition parties who reject Mahathir and Mahathirism.

But there is still a possibility that Lim was misreported or quoted out of context.
