Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has left for Beijing with some officials on Sunday.

From photographs of his arrival at the Chinese capital, it was very clear that the group was quite small, and the plane he was travelling in was not a passenger liner. It had, instead, a Petronas logo at the door.

I wonder how many planes Petronas has, and who gets to use them. Does Petronas' chief executive have access to the plane? Why did Petronas buy it in the first place?
